Smart solutions for tough conditions

SoluForce® is the originator and technological leader in the research, development, manufacture, supply and installation of Flexible Composite Pipes (FCP, also known as Reinforced Thermoplastic Pipes or RTP).

Our clients move hydrocarbons and water from point A to point B in the toughest environments on Earth. They use our system onshore and offshore for oil and gas pipelines, flow lines, water injection lines and effluent pipelines.

The SoluForce® pipe system is completely non-metallic, meaning it can go round corners, up hills, down slopes, across gullies, under water and more with ease. It’s also fully corrosion resistant and quick and simple to install. Our solutions also include a corrosion-resistant fitting system that also makes it easy to connect our pipe systems to conventional pipeline infrastructure. And we can supply installation equipment and certified installation engineers wherever our customers require them.

Our philosophy is to add value and make your operation safe and more efficient. And we do.

Our commitment to the environment

Environmental sustainability is central to the way we do business. This is reflected in our products and services, resulting in minimal logistical movements, a minimum ROW, a reusable solution and a corrosion-free system. Ever mindful of the many communities we serve, we are committed to our Corporate Social Responsibility.

History

RTPs were initially developed in the early 1990s in response to growing demand for non-corrosive conduits. They were used to replace medium pressure steel pipes for application in the onshore oil and gas industry, particularly in the Middle East. The first pipes were reinforced with synthetic fibre.

Because of its expertise in pipe production, Pipelife Nederland B.V. was involved in the Joint Industry Project to develop Long Length Reinforced Thermoplastic Pipes (LLRTP) in 1998. The resulting pipe system is now marketed under the name SoluForce.
