1998

R&D project started for non-metallic solution for corroding steel pipes, in cooperation with Shell, DNV, Teijin, AkzoNobel and PipeLife.

1999

Creation of the SoluForce brand by PipeLife and the development of industry standards (JIP/ Shell DEP / API RP 15S)

2000

First SoluForce pipe system installed, in Oman

2001

SoluForce becomes commercially available for the first time with the introduction of SoluForce Classic in combination with the Electro Fusion fitting system

2002

Introduction of SoluForce Light and the first SoluForce training modules for usage and installation

2004

First RTP (which was SoluForce) used offshore as a riser with Shell Brunei

2005

Introduction of SoluForce Heavy and the Double Swage fitting system, providing excellent solutions for extremely high pressures

2015

Introduction of the SoluForce Academy, offering local training modules for contractors, end-users, inspectors and others

2016

Introduction of SoluForce Gas Tight, the industries only true permeation tight Flexible Composite Pipe system

2017

Introduction of the Single Swage fitting system for all SoluForce types, and SoluForce High Temperature, pushing the boundaries even further with design temperatures of 105°C / 225°F

2018

SoluForce to be used to transport green hydrogen produced by wind mills in the North Sea to end-users in the chemical and industrial sectors in the Groningen region.

2019

SoluForce H2T introduced and certified for hydrogen applications up to 42 bar operating pressure.

Over 3500 km of SoluForce installed worldwide in various applications, onshore and offshore
