SoluForce will participate in the SPE Symposium "Non-Metallics—Disruptive Solutions for Sustainable and Cost-Effective Assets", organized by the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and hosted by the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). The objective of this symposium is to share knowledge and experiences to leverage the use of non-metallic solutions in the energy sector. The symposium will also create a platform for all stakeholders including subject matter experts, manufacturers, and operators to discuss the latest technological developments, challenges, and future ambitions.
Corrosion of metallic pipelines and downhole tubulars and the associated maintenance to mitigate or prevent it poses a heavy environmental and operational burden across many industries, especially the energy sector. To address these challenges, qualification, piloting and deployment of non-metallic solutions aim to eliminate corrosion; boost operational efficiency, and maximise asset availability while reducing life cycle costs.
The symposium will also have discussions on implementation opportunities in the following service environments:
The Symposium offers many interesting sessions, including a session on: "Non-Metallics in the Energy Transition, CCUS, and Hydrogen Implementation Prospects". This session is chaired by SoluForce Managing Director Mr. Robert-Jan Berg and explores the challenges of non-metallics in facilitating the development of hydrogen and CCS economies.
